November is a special time for the school community as we come together to celebrate Kindness Month, in honour of Kindness Day which is celebrated annually on November 13th. This month serves as a reminder of the power of kindness and the profound impact it can have on our lives and the lives of those around us. 

对于学校社区来说，十一月是一个特殊的时期，因为我们相聚一堂共同庆祝友善月，以纪念每年 11 月 13 日的友善日。这个月提醒着我们友善的力量以及它对我们和周围人的生活可能产生的深远影响。

Throughout the month, the focus is to foster a culture of kindness, encouraging students to show compassion to friends, teachers, and family members. Kindness is not just a word; it is an action that strengthens our relationships and builds a caring community. When we practice kindness, we create a safe and supportive environment where everyone feels valued and respected. 

在整个月里，重点是培养友善的文化，鼓励学生对朋友、老师和家庭成员展现出同情心。友善不仅仅是一个词，而是一种能够强化我们的关系并构建一个充满关爱的社区的行动。当我们践行友善时，我们创造了一个让每个人都感到被重视和尊重的安全且支持性的环境。

The approach this year included daily acts of kindness facilitated by the library monitors, Mia and Anna. Each class received a specific act of kindness to perform each day, such as helping a friend with their homework, reading a book together with a classmate or teacher, or picking up litter around the school. These acts not only promote a sense of community but also encourage students to think about how their actions can positively influence those around them. 

今年的方法包括由图书馆管理员Mia和Anna协助的每日友善行为。每个班级每天都会收到一个特定的友善行为去执行，比如帮助朋友完成作业、与同学或老师一起读书，或者在学校周围捡垃圾。这些行为不仅促进了社区意识，还鼓励学生思考他们的行为如何能对周围的人产生积极影响。

A Specific Act of Kindness

Reflecting on this month, students were able to express how small gestures of kindness have made a difference in their day and the day of others. By being kind to one another, we not only enhance our own lives but also make a significant difference in our school and beyond. Let’s make kindness our daily practice—not just in November, but all year round!

反思这个月，学生们能够表达出小小的友善之举是如何改变他们自己和他人的一天的。通过彼此友善相待，我们不仅提升了自己的生活，还在学校及其他地方产生了显著的影响。让我们将友善作为日常实践——不仅仅是在十一月，而是全年！
