幼儿部本周回顾:勇于尝试

Foundation & K1

This week, our Foundation and Kindergarten One students embraced being risk-takers as they explored animal movements. They discovered that not all animals move the same way—some waddle like penguins, hop like frogs, or gallop like horses! The children eagerly tried new movements, stepping out of their comfort zones and sharing which animals were the most fun to imitate. Well done, young explorers!

本周,Foundation 和K1的孩子们在探索动物的动作时,欣然接受成为冒险者。他们发现,不是所有的动物都以同样的方式行走——有些像企鹅一样蹒跚,像青蛙一样跳跃,或者像马一样奔跑!孩子们热切尝试新的动作,走出自己的舒适区,并分享哪些动物是最有趣的模仿对象。做得好棒,年轻的探险家们!

K2

The Kindergarten 2 students took risks in their actions as they explored the impact of their choices on the world around them. They observed the environment during a nature walk, where they examined insects in their natural setting. This hands-on experience deepened their understanding of the interconnectedness of nature and the importance of protecting it.

K2的学生在探索对周围世界的影响时,敢于冒险。他们在自然散步中观察了环境,在自然环境中观察了昆虫。这种亲身体验加深了他们对于自然相互联系的理解以及保护自然的重要性。

K3

Our Kindergarten 3 students became risk- takers as they took to the stage in this week's assembly to showcase a song that they have been learning in music class. The sang along to "The Little Seed" whilst explaining what a seed needs to grow.

在本周的集会上,K3的学生们成为了一个敢于冒险的人,他们在舞台上展示了一首歌曲。他们一边唱着“小种子”,一边解释种子需要什么才能成长。

Music


The Foundation and Kindergarten 1 classes learned about loud and quiet sounds with the focus on recognising different sounds. Students listened to the sound of 4 hidden objects and had to guess what each item was. 

Kindergarten 2 Music Time was concentrated on musical instruments such as recorders, pianos, drums, and ukuleles. Each of these instruments produced a distinct sound.

本周的幼儿部音乐课上,Foundation和K1学习了大声和安静的声音。这一次,我们专注于识别不同的声音。我们准备了四个容器,里面装着各种各样的东西,鼓励孩子们猜每个容器里面装的是什么。

在K2的音乐课上,我们主要学习乐器,比如笛子、钢琴、鼓、尤克里里琴。每种乐器都能发出独特的声音。
