A Dialogue with ZJU: Exploring Future Pathways

对话浙大，探索未来

On 2nd December 2025, Ms TANG Haiyang, Director of the Undergraduate Admissions Office of Zhejiang University, along with admissions officers Mr LOU Mingdong and Ms WANG Yingfang, visited ASJ (Dongguan) for an in-depth exchange session and held a face-to-face seminar with our Grade 11 students. This visit not only enhanced mutual understanding between the two institutions, but also provided our students with valuable university application guidance and admissions information.

2025年12月2日，浙江大学本科招生办公室主任汤海旸老师、招生主管楼铭东老师及王英芳老师一行，到访东莞暨大港澳子弟学校，进行参观交流并与学生面对面座谈。此次交流不仅增进了两校之间的相互了解，更为东莞暨大港澳子弟学校的高二学生们带来了宝贵的升学指导与报考信息。

ASJ (Dongguan) extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Zhejiang University. The visit was attended by members of the school leadership, including Ms Grace AIK, School Supervisor; Mr Samuel KAM, Executive Principal; Mr Billy TUNG, Executive Director; and Ms Eva CHEN, School Office Manager. A professional discussion was held, during which both sides exchanged views on talent development philosophy and potential educational collaboration, expressing a shared commitment to fostering quality educational pathways.

东莞暨大港澳子弟学校对浙江大学招生团队的到来表示了热烈的欢迎，学校校监易丽华女士、执行校长金礼贤先生、执行理事董柏佑先生及校办主任陈燕华女士等领导共同接待了来访团队。双方举行了专业座谈，就人才培养理念、教育合作可能性等话题交换了意见，共同表达了推动优质教育衔接的意愿。

Accompanied by school leaders, the admissions officers toured the campus teaching buildings, library, laboratories, and sports facilities, gaining an overall understanding of the school’s educational features, curriculum system, and daily student life. They spoke highly of the school’s advanced facilities, integrated and diverse curriculum, and its nurturing environment aimed at holistic student development.

在校方领导的陪同下，浙大招生官们实地参观了校园的教学楼、图书馆、实验室及文体设施，深入了解了学校的办学特色、课程体系与学生日常。招生官们对学校先进完善的硬件设施、多元融合的课程设置以及致力于学生全面发展的教育氛围给予了积极评价。

A key highlight of the event was the interactive session with our Grade 11 students. Director TANG Haiyang gave a comprehensive introduction to Zhejiang University, covering its long history, strong academic disciplines, outstanding faculty, research achievements, and vibrant campus culture. Officers LOU Mingdong and Wang Yingfang then provided detailed explanations of the university’s undergraduate admissions policy, programme features, selection criteria, and application procedures, encouraging students to aim high and pursue their aspirations.

随后进行的与高二学生的交流环节是本次活动的亮点。汤海旸主任首先向在场学生全面介绍了浙江大学的悠久历史、雄厚学科实力、卓越的师资与科研成就，以及丰富的校园文化。楼铭东主管与王英芳主管则详细解读了浙江大学的本科招生政策、专业设置特点、录取考量因素以及具体的报考流程，鼓励学生们积极报考，实现自己的梦想。

During the Q&A session, students asked active questions regarding specific course content, comprehensive evaluation requirements, campus life, and future development opportunities. The admissions officers listened attentively and offered thoughtful, practical advice, helping students gain clarity and direction for their preparations. The atmosphere was lively and engaging. The students reflected that this close interaction gave them a more vivid and thorough understanding of Zhejiang University, helping them define and solidify their personal academic goals.

在互动环节，学生们踊跃提问，内容涵盖具体专业的课程内容、综合素质评价要求、校园生活以及未来发展方向等。招生官们耐心倾听，逐一给予了细致而中肯的解答，为同学们廓清迷雾，指明了准备方向。现场气氛热烈，学子们纷纷表示，通过此次近距离交流，他们对浙江大学有了更立体、更深入的认识，个人升学的目标也变得更为清晰和坚定。

This successful exchange not only offered ASJ (Dongguan) students a precious opportunity to engage directly with a leading university, but also established a communication channel for ongoing collaboration between the two institutions.
