The Senior Boys Basketball Team delivered a commanding performance at the Ivy Events Schoolympics South China Division this past weekend, showcasing resilience, skill, and tenacity to finish second in their pool and, most importantly, secure a coveted spot in the National Finals.

上周末，在常青藤国际体育华南赛区预选赛中，东莞暨大港澳子弟学校高中男子篮球队以出色的韧性、精湛的技术以及顽强的斗志，取得了小组第二名的成绩，并成功斩获备受瞩目的全国总决赛席位。

The tournament opened with a statement victory against Menaul School Qingdao. In a hard-fought contest, our team established control with disciplined defence and sharp offensive execution, clinching a solid 61-51 win. This first triumph set a confident tone for the challenges ahead.

赛事首战，球队对阵青岛盟诺学校便打出强势开局。在这场激烈对决中，队员们凭借严密的防守和精准的进攻掌控节奏，最终以61:51锁定胜利，为后续比赛注入强劲信心。

Carrying that momentum into the second round, the team faced Benenden School Guangzhou. What ensued was a defensive masterclass. Our players locked down the court, allowing only 30 points while executing a patient and effective offensive strategy. The 46-30 victory was a testament to the team's focus and tactical maturity.

乘胜追击的第二轮，球队迎战广州博萃德学校。此役上演了一场防守盛宴——我方球员全面封锁对手攻势，仅让对手得到30分，同时以耐心高效的进攻策略贯穿全场。46:30的比分充分体现了球队的专注力与战术执行力。

The final pool game saw our team meet Sendelta International Academy Shenzhen in a clash of top teams. In a high-intensity battle against a formidable opponent, our team fought valiantly but fell short, absorbing a loss that determined the championship match-up.

最后一场小组赛，我们与劲旅深圳新哲文院狭路相逢。在这场势均力敌的高强度对抗中，队员们全力拼搏，虽未取胜，却充分展现了顽强的竞技精神。

Despite the final game result, the team's two decisive victories were enough to earn a fourth-place finish overall in a highly competitive 12-team field. This achievement is secondary to the weekend's true prize: qualification for the National Finals.

尽管决赛结果留有遗憾，但球队凭借两场关键胜利，仍在12支强队中脱颖而出，夺得总排名第四。相较于名次，本次征程更重要的收获是：成功拿到全国总决赛入场券。

"This journey has been defined by our growth and heart," said the coach. "We faced every challenge head-on, learned from each play, and ultimately achieved our primary goal. Advancing to the national stage is a direct result of the team's dedication and the relentless support of our school community."
