From photography and animation to audio, video, and web design, each grade level has explored different ways how technology helps us create, communicate, and express ideas.

Digital Photography

Grade 1
Grade 1 students learned about digital photography.

They explored how photos can help to show our surroundings and tell stories about our daily lives.

They used different devices, like iPads, to take photos of everyday objects.

They learned how to hold the device carefully and choose what to photograph.

They also learned how to edit and improve pictures by editing using cropping, adding coloured filters and adjusting the brightness.

Stop-frame Animation

Grade 2
Grade 2 students learned how to create stop-frame animations using LEGO and the iMotion app.

They took many photos and moved their LEGO models a little bit at a time to make them look like they were moving.
