喜报！

中学部21名同学晋级世界地球科学挑战全国轮

We are delighted to announce that our students from Grades 7 to 11 took part in the International Geography Bee (IGB) World Earth Science Challenge, organised by the International Academic Competitions Committee on 6 January 2026. This prestigious interdisciplinary competition provided our students with an excellent opportunity to engage with Earth sciences on a global scale. The event is designed to inspire curiosity, deepen knowledge, and enhance scientific literacy among young learners.

我们很高兴地宣布，我校7至11年级的学生参加了由国际学术竞赛委员会于2026年1月6日举办的国际地理蜜蜂(IGB)世界地球科学挑战赛。这项极具声望的跨学科竞赛为同学们提供了在全球视野下学习地球科学的绝佳平台。该赛事旨在激发青少年的探索兴趣、深化专业知识、提升科学素养。

Our students had been preparing for this competition since mid‑September 2025. They practised many different kinds of questions under the guidance of our Geography teacher, Ms Queenie Ho.

我校学生自2025年9月中旬起便开始备赛，在地理何婉婷老师的指导下，进行了各类题型的系统训练。

Our students gave their best and answered 50 questions within 30 minutes. Twenty‑one students performed well in the qualifying round and successfully advanced to the national round, which will be held in May. They will demonstrate their understanding of Earth science topics, exchange ideas with peers from around the world, and potentially qualify for the global finals.

同学们全力以赴，在30分钟内完成了50道考题。最终，21名学生在预选赛中表现优异，成功晋级将于5月举行的全国赛。他们将在赛事中展示对地球科学知识的掌握，与各地优秀学子交流切磋，并有望晋级全球总决赛。
