30 May 2026 – On a day filled with warmth and promises, the Class of 2026 at ASJ (Dongguan) gathered for their long-anticipated Graduation and Coming-of-Age Ceremony. Dressed in elegant gowns, the graduates walked the carpet with confidence and grace – stepping from youthful innocence towards maturity, from the school campus into the vast world beyond.

2026年5月30日，东莞暨大港澳子弟学校迎来了2026届高中毕业生的毕业典礼暨成人礼。在这个充满温情与希望的日子里，毕业生们身着整齐礼服，踏着红毯，从青涩走向成熟，从校园走向广阔天地。

A Celebration of Growth and Gratitude

The ceremony opened with a grand processional, met by thunderous applause from proud parents, dedicated teachers, and distinguished guests. Among those in attendance were Mr. ZHANG Dapeng, Director of the Basic Education Office of Jinan University; Mr. Banco TUNG, Chairman of Dongguan EtonHouse Education Group; Dr. June LEUNG, Honorary School Board Member of ASJ (Dongguan); Ms Grace AIK, School Supervisor of ASJ (Dongguan); and Mr. Samuel KAM, Executive Principal of ASJ (Dongguan), and other distinguished guests. Together, they witnessed this unforgettable milestone.

So learning does not stop when you step out of school. Keep learning. Be a lifelong learner. Make progress every day – and you will become the best version of yourself.”

“你们的奋斗、你们的蜕变，成为了你们征服DSE考试最大的底气。但DSE考试只是你人生中的第一座高峰，后面还有一座又一座的高峰等待着你去征服。所以，学习不会在你走出校门时停止。保持学习，做一个终身学习者，每天进步，你会成为最棒的自己。”

The Conferral of Diplomas – A Moment of Pride

颁发毕业证书——荣耀时刻

The most moving moment of the ceremony was the presentation of graduation certificates. Homeroom teachers Ms. Amy WU (Grade 12D) and Ms. Joyce ZHAO (Grade 12E) announced the names of each graduate one by one, while Principal Samuel KAM and Principal Joe ZHOU presented the certificates. Each graduate wore a ceremonial stole, held a personalised preserved flower, and carried a cuddly graduation bear – gifts carefully chosen by the school, symbolising warmth, cherished memories, and unwavering support for the journey ahead.

最激动人心的环节当属毕业证书颁发仪式。G12D班主任吴少娜老师与G12E班主任赵逸旭老师逐一宣读毕业生名单，执行校长金礼贤先生与高中部校长周昱东先生共同为同学们颁发证书。每位毕业生都佩戴着象征荣光的绶带、手持定制永生花，怀抱毕业小熊——这些精心准备的礼物，承载着母校最深情的祝福与守护。

Kennys, on behalf of all graduates, delivered a heartfelt speech, looking back on their journey of growth at ASJ and expressing gratitude to teachers and parents for their companionship and support：

G12E学生殷子健代表全体毕业生发表感言，回顾了在ASJ的点滴成长，感恩师长与父母的陪伴与支持：

“These three years have taught me something very important: we don’t have to be perfect to matter. Many of us spent time worrying about the future. But the truth is, none of us are finished products. We are all still growing. Our embarrassing moments, our failures, and the small acts of kindness we gave each other – these are what truly shaped us.”

“这三年让我明白了一个非常重要的道理：我们不必完美无缺，也能活出意义。我们中很多人都曾为未来焦虑。但事实是，我们都不是‘成品’。我们都在不断成长。那些尴尬的瞬间、我们的失败、以及我们彼此之间小小的善意，才是真正塑造了我们的东西。”

“Class of 2026, as we step into the next chapter, let’s remember this: greatness doesn’t always look loud or perfect. Sometimes it looks like showing up and getting improved every day, being kind, and continuing to grow even when the path isn’t clear. … I firmly believe that one day in the future, we will shine on even greater stages.”

“2026届的同学们，当我们迈入人生的下一个篇章时，请记住这一点：伟大并不总是轰轰烈烈或完美无缺的。有时候，它只是每天坚持出现、一点点进步、保持善良，以及在看不清前路时依然继续成长。……我坚信，未来的某一天，我们一定会在更大的舞台上发光发热。”

Ms CHENG, mother of Leo HE from G12E, spoke as the parent representative. Her words were filled with pride in her child's growth and warm wishes for the graduates' bright future:

“Looking back on the eighteen years of raising a child, my heart is filled with emotions. Kahlil Gibran wrote in ‘On Children’: our children come into the world through us but do not belong to us. They have their own thoughts, and they are destined to go to their own distances. As parents, all we can do is give them our love, accompany them quietly, not seeking possession – only wishing them the courage and confidence to step into the vast world.”

“回首十八载养育之路，心中感慨万千。纪伯伦在《致孩子》中写道：孩子因我们对生命的渴望降临人间，却不属于我们。他们拥有自己的思想，也注定要去往属于自己的远方。为人父母，我们唯有给予他们爱，默默陪伴守护，不求依附，只愿孩子拥有奔赴广阔世界的勇气与底气。”

“Adulthood is the beginning of responsibility, and also the start of pursuing dreams. May each of you carry the knowledge and confidence gained at school, care for our country and embrace the world, deepen your learning on your future educational journey, forge ahead on your career path, and move forward bravely towards your own brilliant life.”

“成年是责任的开端，亦是逐梦的新程。愿各位学子带着在校积淀的学识与底气，心怀家国、放眼世界，在未来求学路上深耕精进，于事业征途上砥砺奋进，勇毅前行，奔赴属于自己的璀璨人生。”

A Celebration of Talent and Togetherness

青春礼赞，才艺绽放

The ceremony also featured wonderful student performances. Charlie WEN from Grade 12D moved everyone with a heartfelt rendition of Think of Me. Students from Grade 12E then took the stage with a band performance of Summer Wind – fresh and melodious. The Street Dance Club brought the atmosphere to a climax with Into the New World. Finally, a joint performance of Amazing Grace by students and teachers drew the ceremony to a touching close.

典礼中还穿插了精彩的学生表演。G12D班的文铭渝同学带来歌曲《Think of Me》，深入人心；G12E同学们带来乐队表演《夏天的风》，清新悠扬；街舞社带来的《再次重逢的世界》将现场气氛推向高潮；师生共同演绎的《明日恩典》则为典礼画上感人句点。

A Bittersweet Farewell and a Bold Beginning

此去繁花似锦，愿君乘风破浪

As the hosts declared, “Ride the wind and cleave the waves; set sail for the vast sea.” With the official announcement – “The ceremony is now concluded” – the 2026 Graduation and Coming-of-Age Ceremony of ASJ (Dongguan) came to a perfect end. The graduates will now carry the school’s deepest blessings and best wishes, venturing far and wide to write their own brilliant chapters.

“长风破浪会有时，直挂云帆济沧海。”随着主持人宣布“圆满礼成”，东莞暨大港澳子弟学校2026届毕业典礼暨成人礼正式落下帷幕。毕业生们将带着母校的祝福与期许，奔赴山海，书写属于自己的辉煌篇章。
